In preparation for training for the Mixed-Double handed off-shore class in the 2024 Paris Olympics, Young American was represented in Venice for the kick-off regatta.

In the 2018 Newport Bermuda Race, Young American Sailing raced the RP '63 Gambler.

The program's roots is held in the J/105. The team has raced the J/105 Young American since the summer of 2013. Currently, Young American races two J/105. Read more about the teams history in the J/105 class.
